Jehangir Ardeshir presently serves as a Non-executive/Independent Director at Cyient DLM Ltd, Premium Transmission Ltd and Premium Care Pvt Ltd, Greaves Cotton Limited as well as at Walchand PeopleFirst Ltd.

In his executive career, he was Group CEO of Forbes Marshall (Nov 2013 to Oct 2018), President and MD of Terex India Pvt Ltd (Oct 2008 to Sept 2013), President of Tata Teleservices and CEO of Tata Quality Management Services (a division of Tata Sons, since renamed Tata Business Excellence Group).

He started his career in the Tata Group as a Tata Administrative Service Officer in 1983, after graduating with a B. Tech (Hons) from IIT, Kharagpur (1981) and a PGDBM from IIM, Bangalore (1983). He joined Tata Steel in 1984 where he served in various roles till 2001.

He has participated in the Eastern, Southern and Western regions of CII, in the AIMA Eastern region, and IECIAL/ICEMA. He is a life member of the Indian Institute of Metals and was a Board Member of QuEST (a Global Quality Forum of the telecom industry).
