Chairperson & Managing Director

Pallavi Jha is the Chairperson & Managing Director of Walchand PeopleFirst Limited and Dale Carnegie Training India.

Pallavi has diversified experience in various management practices such as training and development, HR, consulting and business restructuring, covering a wide range of industries from Engineering & Construction, FMCG, Media and Financial Services.

Over the last 20 years, she has led the company’s transition into the market leader in the HR and Learning industry. Under her leadership Walchand PeopleFirst Limited
represents one of the largest operations for Dale Carnegie Training worldwide, winning several global awards for service and sales excellence. She has played a pioneering role in addressing the talent development and employability challenge confronting Indian industry. Today Walchand PeopleFirst has a thriving practice on employability and livelihoods training through its Walchand Plus division.

She has been a keynote speaker and a vocal spokesperson for industry
associations, having chaired and moderated panel discussions involving India’s leading business leaders. She is an active member of the Confederation of Indian
Industry and has held offices of the Chairperson for Maharashtra Council, CII and
the Skills Development Committee for CII, Western Region and National Council on
Skills Development. She also chaired the Indian Women’s Network, a CII initiative
aimed at engaging, enabling and empowering women.

Earlier, she was Executive Director at India’s leading construction company, HCC, before starting off her own ventures. She began her career with Procter & Gamble.

Pallavi is an MBA from Syracuse University, New York and a graduate in humanities from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She is also a certified Executive Coach.

In addition to her role at Walchand PeopleFirst Limited, Pallavi also serves as a Director at Walchand & Company Private Limited.
